About Us

Bridge Villa is a family run camping & caravan site in Oxfordshire, first established by the late Edwin L Townsend in 1958 alongside his farming business.  The farm business is still in operation and our herd of pedigree Hereford cattle produce the highest quality beef which is available at our Local Producers and Farmers Markets.

Bridge Villa is a picturesque Touring Park within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, beside the River Thames, approximately 14 miles south of Oxford.

Located on the edge of the village of Crowmarsh Gifford amongst unspoilt river-meadows, visitors to Bridge Villa are able to take a short walk over the part-medieval bridge with its 19 stone arches to the centre of the historic market town of Wallingford.

Wallingford has a long and proud history.  Once King Alfred the Great’s largest fortified new town, Wallingford was granted it’s Royal Charter in 1155 long before London and now boasts an excellent range of shops, restaurants and pubs as well as Friday and Farmers markets.
